Rivages by Lara Gasparotto, she practices photography in a shamanic form. Admittedly, the images that she captures of her travels and daily life have the rough nature of actual experience, although it is not much naturalism they contain but traces of something sacred. Thus Lara seems to doubt the world and to believe in ecstasy. But the ecstasy concerns the way that the images are arranged as much as it does the convulsive bodies she portrays and, in order to achieve that tension, the photographer practises the art of juxtaposing different, even opposite, types of photographs.
All the Reloaded versions are different and they all come with multiple signed tipped in images.
These versions of Lara’s book will be available only at the Tipi bookshop.
